A relaxing treatment of mindful movement and massage.
Indulge in a transformative experience that benefits your mind, body, and soul through therapeutic touch, restorative yoga, and breath work, mindfulness, and meditation.
Each Restorative Yoga + Massage treatment begins with deep breathing or a mindfulness exercise that helps ground you in the present moment. You’ll then be guided through a series of restorative yoga poses that will be held for a prolonged period of time. Bolsters and props will be used to ensure complete support and allow for deep relaxation in each pose. While your body is resting and allowing the restorative stretch to sink deeper, Alana will provide therapeutic massage as your guided breath-work or meditation continues. Allow your body to rest, recharge, and recover with this tranquil treatment experience.
One-on-one treatments are considered Registered Massage Therapy and will follow all of the same policies, procedures, and standards of practice. Each treatment is tailored to your health history, is integrated in your treatment plan and is eligible to be submitted to any extended healthcare benefits.
Infant Massage
Promotes relaxation & encourages sleep. It can be used to reduce teething, colic & gas discomfort; regulate breathing/heart rate, and aid in developing digestive/immune systems.
During the appointment, the massage therapist will provide a hands on treatment to the baby, as well as, encourage a parent's confidence in providing their baby with a massage at home by teaching them specific massage techniques.
Pediatric Massage
Provides a sense of relaxation, encourages confidence, promotes body awareness, helps prevent and treat injuries, and instills importance of healthy lifestyle.
As with any treatment, children can undress to their level of comfort or remain fully clothed. They may choose to wear comfortable clothing (ex. shorts/tshirt) while being introduced to massage therapy.
In conjunction with your massage treatment, Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Scar Release Therapy is used to help soften and release scar tissue, improving mobility and reducing discomfort. This gentle, non-invasive therapy uses low-frequency electrical stimulation to break down adhesions, restore circulation, and enhance the body’s natural healing process.
MPS Therapy will be used in addition to manual scar release techniques. Whether from caesarean birth, surgery, injury, or past trauma, MPS & manual therapies can help you move freely and feel better.
